We are a non-profit alliance of neighbors, promoting the common good and general welfare of the Kiamichi Wilderness Community
The Kiamichi Neighborhood Alliance was established in 2026 to promote the common good and general welfare of the Kiamichi Wilderness, an unincorporated community in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma.
Our services are provided in the form of projects, directed by members and funded through voluntary donations.
We are organized as an Oklahoma Non-profit Corporation and operate in accordance with IRS rule 501(c)(4). As such, all projects benefit the community as a whole.
Donations to 501(c)(4) organizations are not tax deductible.
Members are the heart and soul of the Kiamichi Neighborhood Alliance. Members engage in the planning and execution of projects for the benefit of the whole community.
There are no dues or donation requirements, for membership. See the Terms and Conditions of membership here.
Members can create an account, login and have access to the Member Portal. Through the Member Portal, members may attend virtual meetings, vote, view current financial statements, access minutes of Board Meetings, access historical documents and receive private member communication.
Members have a collective voice in matters of county and state governance, and a vote in community matters related to preservation, access, safety and security.

Through one-time or recurring pledges, Supporting Neighbors provide financial support to our General Fund.
General Funds pay ongoing expenses that are unrelated to specific projects. Examples include the tools for accounting, web hosting, interactive communication, online meetings, online voting and insurance. Unforeseen expenses are paid from General Funds when no earmarked project fund exists to pay them.
You do not have to be a KNA Member, or even be a landowner, to be a Supporting Neighbor.
If you are connected to the Kiamichi Wilderness as a friend; or you are a former or present owner; or you plan to become an owner in the future; or you just want to see the community do well, you can support KNA as a Supporting Neighbor here.
We rely on volunteers to help organize events, coordinate projects, and serve on working committees. Volunteering is a great way to get involved and make a positive impact in our community.
Volunteer opportunities exist in neighborhood organizing, road maintenance projects, neighborhood watch programs, safety projects, conservation projects and community events.
If you want to be notified, as volunteer opportunities arise, let us know your preferred way to be contacted by signing up here.
